Moments from Nantucket's calm north shore beaches and a few minutes from the historic downtown, 12 Sherburne Turnpike is a fantastic home nestled off of Cliff Road. This house offers five bedrooms, the cottage offers an additional bedroom and between the two are great shared family areas, and a large yard, ideal for summer gatherings. Close to restaurants and shopping, this is the ideal summer getaway. The price for the house and cottage rental is $25,000 per week.
First Floor
Enter into the light-filled great room with a beamed vaulted ceiling, a fireplace, and ample seating for friends and family. French doors line the west wall of the living area. This space flows into the open-concept dining and living room, with seating for eight at the table. The kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, including an eight-burner Thermador stove with a grill. Off of the kitchen is the mud room, which provides easy access to the guest cottage. Opposite this area is the entertainment room, with a large sectional couch, ideal for movie nights, an ensuite full bathroom, and a powder room.
Second Floor
On the second floor is a landing area with a tucked-away laundry room. Off of this space is the primary bedroom with a king bed and an ensuite with a glass-enclosed tile shower. Down the hall are two more bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the second with a king bed. These two rooms share a hallway bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower/tub.
Third Floor
The third floor has two connected bedrooms. The south-facing room has a king bed and the north-facing room has two twin beds. The two rooms can be opened up for a shared space or one can close the double doors to create two private rooms. At the end of the hall is a bathroom with a shower, which the two bedrooms share.
Cottage
The outdoor area features ample entertaining and lounging space with sliding doors that lead into the dining area. Inside on the first floor is an open floor plan with a dining nook, living area, and full kitchen. Off of the kitchen are the pantry, powder room, and back door, which allows for quick access to the main house, just steps away. On the second floor is an open landing area with a built-in desk- a perfect work-from-home office. On this floor are a full bathroom with a glass-enclosed tub/shower and a bedroom with a king bed.
