Enjoy sweeping views of Long Pond and the moors from this private estate-like enclave along with dazzling sunsets and spectacular star-gazing at night. This property “has it all†– privacy yet still only about ten minutes to town, and close to a lovely secluded beach. The Main House has dramatic living and entertaining spaces, and sleeps 9. The separate, sunny Guest Cottage is steps away and sleeps 2. It has windows on three sides, and is a loft-like living space with a deck looking out onto Long Pond and the moors, and has a king bed, and an en-suite bath with a large stall shower, and a large closet. The Main House and Guest Cottage have central a/c, and there is wi-fi throughout.
First Floor
Entering from a covered porch, an open and inviting entry hall leads to a large, gracious staircase sweeping up to the second floor and to the primary living space. On the first floor, there is a step-down family room/TV room with a fireplace and French Doors leading to a covered porch with an out-door shower, and then opening out on to a full-sized pool. Expansive bluestone terraces wrap the pool, along with a separate bluestone patio with a fire pit, all surrounded by extensive lawns and grounds, and make this house perfect for family living and entertaining. Inside the first floor, on one side of the house there is a second Master Bedroom/large guest room with a King bed, ample closets, and an en-suite bath with a large stall shower. This guest room has French doors leading to its own small bluestone terrace. On the other side of the house there are two attractive guest rooms/children;s rooms, each with two twin beds, one with an en-suite bath with a tub/shower combination, and the other bedroom is adjacent to a hall bath with a large stall shower. Nearby is a bedroom with a twin bed perfect for a nanny or single guest. A large laundry room completes the first floor of the house.
Second Floor
An “open concept†light and airy second floor with a dramatic Cathedral ceiling features sun-flooded rooms and open views. Two large decks overlooking the estate-like property showcase the lovely vistas of the moors and Long Pond. The living room has a fireplace and French doors leading to decks on both sides of the house. The large dining area seats eight to ten people, and there is a well-equipped kitchen with a Viking fridge and Wolf stove. A breakfast bar seats four. A charming upstairs den/TV room is surrounded by windows on three sides, and has sunny open views. The Master Bedroom has beautiful views of Long Pond and the moors, and access to the deck. There is an en-suite bath with an over-sized stall shower, a big walk-in closet, fireplace, and an adjoining home office.
