Great Point Properties presents a wonderful summer rental property in the heart of town. The property has been given many modern updates by a former Ralph Lauren designer to make for an easy, comfortable and relaxing stay on the island. Both buildings have central air conditioning. All of the bedrooms have hardwood floors and Serena & Lily linens. Between the two buildings is a lovely private yard with mature perennial beds, a spacious bluestone patio and outdoor dining area with a Weber grill and a Kinsley Bate teak table that seats eight. There is also a spacious, enclosed outdoor shower. The house is fully furnished with all-new linens and bath towels, glasses, and dishware plus all the accessories you need to enjoy your stay, from board games to beach chairs, sand toys and beach towels. The house and cottage have cable television, and high-speed WiFi, among other included utilities.
First Floor
The first floor features a sunroom/family room, with French doors that open onto a bluestone patio, plus a newly remodeled spacious eat in kitchen, a dual-fuel Thermador stove, GE Monogram refrigerator with ice maker, Thermador dishwasher and large farmhouse table that seats eight. There is a formal living room with decorative fireplace as well as a formal dining room with an expandable table. The roomy first-floor bedroom has two extra-long twin beds. In the den/television room there is a twin daybed with a trundle. There is a full bath with a walk-in shower, as well as utility closets. There is stacked washer/dryer and a secondary beverage fridge.
Second Floor
On the second floor is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and sitting area. There are two additional bright bedrooms each with full beds, and a shared sitting room with a desk. The second floor's renovated and spacious full bath has new limestone Waterworks tile, a soaking tub/shower combo and Restoration Hardware finishes.
Cottage
The guest cottage over the detached garage has an additional suite with queen bed, kitchenette and full bath along with a private entrance that is perfect for a second couple, single or a caregiver. One off street parking space that will fit a standard SUV or similar; larger vehicles may have to park in available street parking on Orange Street.
